T.he Georgia O'Keeffe Museum in Santa Fe is a small and nice museum that tells the life of the artist. There is a wonderful collection of her works and her life in New Mexico. If in Santa Fe, take … Full review by Michael W

We found it very helpful. You can easily do that online and you get a 30 minute window for arrival and then you can stay as long as you like. It might not be an issue visiting on a weekday, but on holidays and weekends I think it will make it easier to visit at the time you prefer. They only sell a limited number of entry tickets for each time frame to keep the museum from being overly crowded.
Is there a senior citizen discount or Nm resident discount
A:
there isn't a discount but you will certainly get the value for your entry fee. There is a volunteer docent that will tour groups through the museum. Worth every dollar....enjoy it!!
We went to the museum 5 or 6 years ago and we were very disappointed to find few of O'Keeffe's paintings here. On the museum's web site I can't determine if this is still the case. We will be in Santa Fe mid October and are deciding whether to go again or not. Debating if we should go to Ghost Ranch instead. Would appreciate advise. Dolores

We did not go to Ghost Ranch. However, we thought there was a nice representation of her work in the Museum, plus biographical artifacts and a nice little movie. There is even a live webcam of her garden. We were in no way disappointed and really enjoyed the museum. It's just off of the Plaza, so easy to get to and you can go through the whole thing without making a huge time commitment (plus the little gift shop). Here's an idea we did that I would recommend, but you need to plan this at least the day before. Call the restaurant Eloisa (in the Drury Plaza Hotel) and arrange to have the Georgia O'Keefe tasting menu for dinner on the evening of the same day that you go to the Georgia O'Keefe Museum, so that way you can have a "multi-sensory" Georgia O'Keefe day!
