Google will likely have to pay a massive Android antitrust fine in the EU following today's events. The fine is €4.125 billion.

Google’s appeal over a €4.125  billion ($4.7 billion) fine the European Union handed it has been dealt a huge blow. The European Court of Justice’s advocate general, Juliane Kokott, has recommended that the court dismiss the challenge.

Google’s bid to overturn its record €4.1 billion ($4.7 billion) antitrust fine appears close to defeat after Juliane Kokott, the advocate general at the European Court of Justice (ECJ), issued a non-binding opinion on Thursday recommending the court reject the company’s appeal.
