Cole Young, a former standout at North Allegheny High School​ was called up the MLB on Friday by the Seattle Mariners.

The Kansas City Royals have promoted top prospect Jac Caglianone to the majors, the team announced Monday. Caglianone, the No. 6 pick in last summer's draft, could make his big-league debut as soon as Tuesday, when the Royals host the St. Louis Cardinals.
