Archer (NYSE: ACHR) announced that it has been selected as the Official Air Taxi Provider of the LA28 Olympic and Paralympic Games and Team USA.

Joby announced it has successfully flown two of its aircraft simultaneously for the first time which marked another milestone.

The two-aircraft flight was completed in Marina on May 9, demonstrating the maturity of Joby’s test program. It also comes just weeks after the company successfully completed flights with a full transition from vertical, cruise flight, and back again with a pilot onboard.

Joby CEO JoeBen Bevirt said government support on the state and federal level will help the U.S. to lead the technology for electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft.
