Bill Moyers, the longtime, highly respected broadcast journalist and former White House press secretary, has died. Moyers, 91, a former resident of New Jersey, died Thursday. His son William Cope Moyers told The Washington Post he died in New York from complications of prostate cancer.

He was a renowned television correspondent and commentator with long ties with Lyndon B. Johnson, including as his press secretary.
