The American aircraft manufacturer Boeing has initiated a process for group redundancies. Notices are already being issued to employees. These measures will affect 17,000 individuals, representing 10 per cent of the company’s global workforce.

Boeing is determined to impose the cost of the strike, estimated at over $10 billion, onto the backs of workers themselves.
