The nominations for the 2025 Grammy Awards have been announced, and Beyoncé leads the way. She received 11 nominations, including for album, song and record of the year for music from “Cowboy Carter,” her much-anticipated country album.

In recent years, most discourse surrounding the annual awards ceremony has involved Taylor Swift’s record-breaking number of “Album of the Year” wins – and Beyoncé’s mounting list of snubs in the same category, as the Recording Academy continually passes over career-defining solo albums such as “Lemonade” and “RENAISSANCE.”

The Recording Academy has unveiled its nominations list for the 2025 Grammys, and some pretty huge names weren’t on it — at least, not in all of the Big Four categories fans might have been expecting.
