Two Sydney Thunder players, Cameron Bancroft and Daniel Sams, collided head on while going at full pace in opposite directions trying to position themselves under a high ball in the field.

In a shocking incident during the Big Bash League (BBL) match between the Sydney Thunder and Perth Scorchers at Optus Stadium in Perth on January 3, Australian cricketers Daniel Sams and Cameron Bancroft were involved in a severe on-field collision.

Cameron Bancroft has been ruled out of the remainder of the BBL with a broken nose and shoulder while Daniel Sams faces at least 12 days out of action under concussion protocols following the scary on-field collision at Optus Stadium on Friday night.
