Jaromir Jagr is finally calling it a career. The 52-year-old NHL legend and former Rangers star is currently playing for HC Rytiri Kladno of the Czech Extraliga, which he owns. He sparked the retirement talk after referencing his “last season” in an Instagram post on Wednesday.

But by the time Jagr returned during his age 45 season, Kladno had been demoted from the top-level Czech Extraliga to the country’s second-tier pro league. Since his return, though, Kladno has managed to stay in the Extraliga for five out of the last eight seasons.
