With a second season of its live-action prequel series in the can, Peacock has announced that it is expanding the world of Seth MacFarlane’s Ted with a new animated sequel series that will see the return of MacFarlane and his feature film co-stars Mark Wahlberg (John),

It’s been 10 years since the release of the sequel to Seth MacFarlane’s popular movie Ted starring Mark Wahlberg and Amanda Seyfried. Following the success of Ted, which came out in 2012 featuring Wahlberg, Mila Kunis and MacFarlane (who voiced Ted), the sequel starring Seyfried was a fun encore in 2015.

Peacock is doubling down on "Ted," with the streamer ordering an animated series based on Seth MacFarlane's foul-mouthed teddy bear film franchise. Exact plot details are being kept under wraps, but the animated series will take place after the events of the two "Ted" live-action features.
