Blake Horvath delivered a game to remember, accounting for more than 400 yards of offense in leading Navy to a stunning upset of Memphis.

Blake Horvath complemented two touchdown passes with 211 yards rushing and four scores and Rayuan Lane III had an 86-yard pick-6 in the closing seconds to help unbeaten Navy hold on for a 56-44 victory over Memphis,

All Blake Horvath could do was lift his hands and shrug his shoulders. Navy’s junior quarterback had just gashed Memphis for a 90-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter, breaking loose past a vaunted Tigers defense.

Memphis entered the game ranked No. 23 in the US LBM Coaches Poll and in what appeared to be pole position for a College Football Playoff spot. But that may have all gone out the window with the loss.
