Two men are dead after a mass shooting in downtown Minneapolis that also left two teenage girls and a woman with gunshot wounds. Minneapolis Police Department says multiple fights broke out near the intersection of 5th Street South and Hennepin Avenue – an area home to several bars and nightclubs – shortly before 2 a.

The incidents occurred within a 16-hour period in Minneapolis’ Phillips neighborhood. No motive had been established as of late Wednesday.

Minneapolis Police say the latest shooting occurred at around 4:15 p.m. in an alleyway near an encampment at Bloomington Avenue and East 25th Street.
