Halle Berry is helping her daughter through a difficult moment.

Halle Berry recently shared her experience of supporting her daughter, Nahla, through her first heartbreak. During a roundtable event for her new film Never Let Go in New York, the 58-year-old actress opened up about the emotional challenges of motherhood, specifically when it comes to watching her teenage daughter navigate difficult emotions.

Halle Berry recalled an unpleasant mother-daughter moment with 16-year-old Nahla while chatting exclusively with E! News at her “Never Let Go” premiere.

Halle Berry also shared that during Nahla's tough time, "a little part" of her was dying. She said, "But in this moment, it's the single most important thing to be rejected and have a breakup and she feels like she's dying. A little part of me is dying and I can't tell her that because she'll just say, 'Mom, you don't understand.'"

Regardless of the cause of the breakup, Berry knew she had to help pick up the pieces. And the best way to do so was to simply be there with Nahla. She has done the same when her 10-year-old son, Maceo, was upset.

Halle Berry has an Oscar on her mantle and a buzzy new horror movie Never Let Go to promote. But she's a mother and right now her daughter, Nahla, 16, needs her to mend her broken heart.
