West Ham goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski was carried off at Southampton on Boxing Day, as the Polish goalkeeper underwent lengthy treatment on the pitch after a collision. The game was stopped for over seven minutes as Fabianski was treated and then stretchered off.

Jarrod Bowen scored a second half winner for West Ham United in a 1-0 Premier League victory at Southampton as new Saints manager Ivan Juric suffered defeat in his first game in charge of the struggling club on Thursday.

Jarrod Bowen got the winner at St. Mary's, reaching out to tap home at the back post after Tomáš Souček and Niclas Füllkrug combined with headers to get the ball across the box. The captain ran to the away end to celebrate, and was joined by almost the entire team in a real show of unity.
