Tottenham Hotspur's stance on parting ways with manager Ange Postecoglou after Newcastle defeat has been revealed.

For Newcastle, the fit-again Sven Botman made his first appearance since last March after a long-term knee injury, starting in place of the suspended Fabian Schar as former Spurs defender Kieran Trippier made way for Tino Livramento at right-back.

Spurs were adamant Joelinton should have been penalised for handball in the build-up to Anthony Gordon's equaliser, but the officials deemed that the contact with Lucas Bergvall's pass was accidental and that the Brazilian's arm was in a natural position.
