Stablecoin issuer Circle Internet's shares climbed 48% on Friday, extending a stellar run after a blowout market debut on the New York Stock Exchange a day earlier.

Circle Internet Group’s share price continues to increase, rising on Friday as much as 25% from its previous close, a day after the stablecoin issuer’s more than doubled from the IPO price.

Circle, the company behind the $61 billion stablecoin USDC, made a roaring debut on the New York Stock Exchange Thursday, becoming the first stablecoin issuer to go public and making CEO and cofounder Jeremy Allaire a billionaire.
