Despite a pedestrian stat line from Caitlin Clark, the Fever's star put on an unforgettable performance at the TD Garden for thousands of WNBA fans.
“Make no mistake, this is on the reffing,” Caitlin’s younger brother Colin wrote in a since-deleted post on X. Late in Tuesday night’s game against the Sun at Boston’s TD Garden, Clark appeared to hurt her right groin, marking her fourth injury in the last three months.

A Fever staffer held back Clark while she screamed at the referee. One of the ESPN broadcasters said Clark had been saying, “Are you kidding me?” Hot mics then captured Clark’s anger, before she walked toward the referee.
