Utah Hockey Club cannot seem to figure out the Dallas Stars. Despite getting closer — Utah lost by one goal to the Stars in their first two matchups and took them to overtime in Saturday’s 3-2 loss at American Airlines Arena — The Club was unable to collect two points against the Central Division opponent.

Jamie Benn and Oskar Bäck also scored for the Stars, who have won four straight for the first time since opening the season with four wins. Matt Duchene and Wyatt Johnston each had two assists, and Jake Oettinger made 33 saves.

Utah isn’t the only team that has struggled to score on the Stars. The’ve allowed just 93 goals all year — the fewest of any team. Jake Oettinger started for Dallas on Thursday, so it’s likely that Utah faces DeSmith again on Saturday.
