Jorge Alberto Martinez, 33, of Devonshire Street is charged with felony murder, Winston-Salem police said. Martinez is accused of killing his wife, Carla Osmara Zepeda-Martinez, 31, on Dec. 20, police said. Officers found Zepeda-Martinez dead at 11:04 a.m. inside an apartment at 430 E. Devonshire St. in the city’s southeastern section, police said.

Police have charged a man with murder after his wife was found dead in their home last week. On Dec. 20, Winston-Salem Police Department found Carla Osmara Zepeda-Martinez, 31, of Winston-Salem, dead inside of her apartment off of East Devonshire Street.
