DETROIT — The Detroit Pistons kept to their word in taking a measured approach to the 2025 NBA Draft. The Pistons had one pick at No. 37 and used it to select guard Chaz Lanier from Tennessee and that was it for the team’s first opportunity to bolster their roster this offseason.

A whirlwind NBA draft and the week leading up to it are done. And before the 2025 free-agency period has even started, the landscape of the league has already shifted dramatically from where it was in 2024-25.

The 2025 NBA Draft is in the books and the next group of potential stars now know where they will begin their professional careers. This year's draft was split into two nights, with Round 2 taking place on Thursday night at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.
