F1 tips its hat to the larger Formula One world by including real-life racers and other figures among the fictional characters played by the likes of Brad Pitt.

Brad Pitt gets top billing in F1: The Movie for playing racer Sonny Hayes, joined by Snowfall star Damson Idris as his teammate Joshua. The Banshees of Inisherin breakout Kerry Condon plays APX GP’s technical director Kate, while Oscar-winner Javier Bardem supports the ensemble as team owner Reuben.

Pitt, 61, stars as a Formula One driver whose career was sidelined by a devastating crash. Though the overall arc of F1 is fairly predictable, the film is still hugely enjoyable and dazzlingly well-made.
