Grove Street Games, the original developer behind Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy - The Definitive Edition, unfollows Rockstar on Twitter.

Years after its release, Rockstar has updated the GTA Trilogy to include some classic lighting to help bring the three titles in the bundle back to their original look. The release of Grand Theft Auto Trilogy was met with major fan backlash after iconic characters and scenes from the three remastered games released with funky character models and odd lighting choices.

Rockstar Games has released updates for each of the remastered Grand Theft Auto games included in the GTA Trilogy Definitive Edition collection that make these maligned versions play better, as well as making them look more like the original games released on PS2 back in the early 2000s.

The Trilogy has sparked anger from the game's developers, after the studio's name was removed from the opening screen.

The Definitive Edition was first released in 2021, fans were disappointed to find that the remastered versions of GTA III (2001), Vice City (2002), and San Andreas (2004) came with numerous issues and design changes that detracted from the original experience.

GTA fans are speculating that the developer of 2021's Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy might not be too pleased with Rockstar Games after the removal of the studio's name from the game collection's menu screens,
