After Scottie Scheffler successfully defended his Memorial title, tournament host Jack Nicklaus showered him with praise and made a bold claim.

Scheffler is looking forward to playing "in such a strong field" and said: "It's an event and a course I enjoy playing given we only get to play links golf a couple of times a year."
