Retail analysts say the first day of Amazon’s Prime Day event and competing sales drove solid online spending.

Amazon Prime Day officially got underway Tuesday, with the summer sales event slated to last through July 11. Competitors Target and Walmart are also holding multi-day sales events.

This Prime Day, the Jackery Explorer 1000 v2 is available at an all-time low price of $448, down from its usual $799.
