A federal judge who just blocked President Donald Trump’s executive order ending birthright citizenship for the children of people in the U.S. illegally says he's not persuaded by the Trump administration's arguments.

A federal judge in New Hampshire granted a preliminary injunction against an executive order that would end birthright citizenship.

The judge in New Hampshire said an injunction would be issued immediately, with an explanation of his reasoning to follow on Tuesday.
