Princess Diana’s iconic floral ‘caring dress’ sold for $520K at a California auction featuring over 100 royal fashion items from her wardrobe

The anticipated highest bidder for the ensemble is Renae Plant, who has dedicated her life to celebrating the legacy of the Princess of Wales by collecting and preserving her personal items. Plant, 53, founded the virtual Princess Diana Museum in 2019, which hosts the largest collection of the late Princess’s memorabilia in the world.

The sale, taking place today at the Peninsula Beverly Hills in Los Angeles, is touted as a landmark auction with over 300 units for sale, including several looks worn by Princess Diana that have never hit the market before.
