On Sunday at 5:08 p.m. a flash flood warning was released by the National Weather Service in effect until 8:15 p.m. for Limestone and Madison counties.

A flash flood warning has been issued for the Salt Fire burn scar until 4 p.m. Monday. As of 1 p.m., a rainfall rate of two inches per hour was expected. Due to the burn scar flooding, Highway 70 West is closed from the Y to Mescalero Trail until water levels go down.

An updated flash flood warning was released by the National Weather Service on Sunday at 8:16 a.m. in effect until 11:15 a.m. for Wayne County.
