The Alabama Crimson Tide will begin the year against the Florida State Seminoles in a battle of teams with new quarterbacks. Alabama saw Jalen Milroe get drafted by the Seattle Seahawks as the Crimson Tide turn to a QB battle involving Ty Simpson, Keelon Russell and Austin Mack.

Anthony Wainwright, 54, is scheduled to die by lethal injection on June 10 for the kidnapping, rape and murder of Carmen Gayheart in 1994. Gayheart was abducted from a grocery store parking lot in Lake City, Florida. Matthew Johnson's execution is set for Tuesday.

The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency identified the victims as Alan David Waller, 74, Marian Diane Myrick Waller, 71, both of Floral, Fla., and Carrie Christine Stone, 49, of Inverness, Fla. The family was driving on County Road 95 and crossed two lanes of traffic across U.S. 84 in Gordon, Ala., near the Georgia line.
