Vegas Golden Knights forward Jack Eichel has been named a finalist for the Lady Byng Trophy. The winner of the award, which is given annually to the player voted best to combine sportsmanship, gentlemanly conduct and ability as voted on by the Professional Hockey Writers Association, will be announced at a later date.

McDavid is tied for second among all scorers in the Stanley Cup Playoffs after putting up 11 points (two goals, nine assists) in the six-game ouster of the Los Angeles Kings in the first round. Draisaitl had 10 points (three goals, seven assists).

“They’re just unpredictable,” Golden Knights defenseman Noah Hanifin said of Kaprizov and Boldy. “They’re real creative and make a lot of east-to-west plays. They have high-skill players who read off each other well. It’s something we have to be better on them and harder on them, because they drive a lot of their offense.”
