It is believed to be the best finish by a former golfer who spent the majority of his college career at Oregon State since Bob Allard took seventh in the 1973 B.C. Open. Allard, who played for the Beavers during the 1960s, played on the Tour from 1972-76. Allard is a member of the OSU Athletics Hall of Fame.
