Schwartz scored the fifth hat trick of his career tonight and his first since Mar. 19, 2019. This was his fifth multi-goal game with Seattle, tying Oliver Bjorkstrand (5) for the third most in franchise history behind Jared McCann (10) and Jordan Eberle (7).

Schwartz put Seattle ahead 2-1 at 7:40, finishing off a 4-on-2 rush by scoring on a wrist shot from the right circle. Josh Mahura started the break by creating a turnover when he checked Warren Foegele in the defensive zone.

Chandler Stephenson also tallied and Kaapo Kakko had three assists for the Kraken, who began a run of nine of 10 games on home ice. Daccord made 28 saves, stopping everything he faced in the final period, including a breakaway by Warren Foegele, when Los Angeles had a 17-1 edge in shots.

Seattle took the lead at 8:54 after defenseman Josh Mahura skated the puck from his own end down the left wing and behind the Penguins' net. He fed Shane Wright, who sent a pass across the top of the crease to Tolvanen, who lifted the puck over Jarry from near the left post. Kakko clinched the victory with an empty-netter at 18:57.
