"A severe, significant tornado" caused devastating destruction in Laurel and Pulaski counties in southeastern Kentucky.

Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear spoke on social media Monday to brace the state for the weather. He said Tuesday's storms are expected to bring winds of more than 60 mph with hail and heavy rains.
