While Kidman’s character Romy didn’t wear a pup hood or bark in Babygirl, the dog imagery intermixed with the Dom (me)/sub dynamics throughout the film felt at the very least like a nod to puppy play. (She eats that treat out of Samuel’s hand as he literally pets her!)
