James Woods evacuated from Pacific Palisades Tuesday as a raging fire burned and threatened properties in the Los Angeles neighborhood.

James Woods, Jennifer Garner and Molly Sims were among the celebrities whose homes were spared from the devastating California wildfires.

Steve Guttenberg doesn’t just play a good guy on the screen. The actor, best known for performances in hit films like “Police Academy” and “Three Men and a Baby,” sprang into action when Los Angeles County wildfires threatened the area around his Pacific Palisades neighborhood.

Known for his roles in movies like “Police Academy,” “It Takes Two” and “Three Men and a Baby,” Guttenberg, 66, was caught by local news station KTLA 5 on Tuesday as he was out moving cars to make room for fire trucks to drive into the endangered community.

The actor and Palisades resident described the heartbreaking scene as people were trying to evacuate the blaze.

The Palisades fire has killed two, impacted over 1,000 buildings, and caused more than 30,000 Los Angeles area residents to evacuate their homes. Among those impacted are Jamie Lee Curtis, Mark Hamill,
