Rockstar's official support page has now been updated and the good news is this same patch has been applied to the Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy for the Nintendo Switch.

In a surprise no one saw coming, developer Rockstar Games released a brand new patch for Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy - Definitive Edition nearly three years to the day the disastrous and buggy remasters first released on consoles and PC.

After a two-year gap, Rockstar Games yesterday released a major update to the Grand Theft Auto: Definitive Edition collection on all consoles, with the Switch version receiving patches for each game in the collection today.

The visual improvements from GTA: The Trilogy Definitive Edition have finally made it beyond the mobile ports.

Definitive Edition brings together three iconic titles – GTA 3, GTA San Andreas, and GTA Vice City. This collection promised to deliver updated versions of these beloved classics, bringing modern enhancements to the games' nostalgic charm.

The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition which includes Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas and Grand Theft Auto III but it seems you'll need this quick fix to run it now on Steam Deck.

The first Grand Theft Auto 6 trailer was released in December 2023, confirming a planned 2025 release date. It racked up more than 100 million views in just two days, surpassing the lifetime views of GTA 5 ‘s debut trailer and making it one of the most-viewed trailers in YouTube history.

Sony is bringing Rockstar's juggernaut Grand Theft Auto 5 back to its PlayStation Plus Game Catalog on Nov. 19, the company announced Wednesday.  Sony will add these games to its Game Catalog soon. You can also check out the games Sony added to the service in October.
