Rockstar's official support page has now been updated and the good news is this same patch has been applied to the Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy for the Nintendo Switch.

Animations and other visuals have also been fixed, leading to the game perhaps finally feeling like it should have some years ago. Sales were still strong for Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy - Definitive Edition at launch, so plenty of people can now enjoy the trilogy as intended.

The visual improvements from GTA: The Trilogy Definitive Edition have finally made it beyond the mobile ports.

The Definitive Edition had a weird and rocky release schedule coming out quite underdone on consoles and PC, before releasing for mobile last year on Netflix with that release having better lighting and other gameplay improvements that the console versions didn’t get.
