Fire crews are working to contain a new wildfire that has erupted near the Hanson Canyon Dam in the northeast San Fernando Valley. Sky 5 is overhead.

Jan. 20 A new wildfire was reported today at 2:09 a.m. in Los Angeles County. The wildfire has been burning on private land. There is no update on the containment progress of the fire and its cause remains undetermined.
