Sesame Workshop is upping security measures around its social media accounts following Sunday's hack of "Sesame Street" star Elmo's X profile. The incident saw the beloved puppet sharing antisemitic messages and accusing President Donald Trump of being on the Epstein List.

Elmo's X account was briefly compromised yesterday by an unknown hacker who posted disgusting messages, including antisemitic and racist posts.

Antisemitism on social media fosters the normalization of anti-Jewish hate online and offline, and contributes to an increasingly threatening environment for Jewish people everywhere.
