The National Hurricane Center is tracking Tropical Storm Sara, but it appears Texas is not in its direct path. See spaghetti models and likely path.

Torrential downpours from Sara are expected to pound the northern portions of Honduras, causing catastrophic flooding and mudslides through early next week. Forecasters warned that heavy rainfall will also bring "life-threatening" flash flooding to Belize, El Salvador, eastern Guatemala, western Nicaragua and Quintana Roo in Mexico.

Sara is expected to make landfall in Belize early Sunday, then move across the Yucatan and become a remnant low as it enters the Gulf of Mexico.
