Emine Emanet walked free from a New Jersey immigrant-detention center and into the arms of her family on Wednesday, two weeks and a day after she and her husband were arrested by ICE agents at their Haddon Township restaurant.

Emine Emanet, wife, mother and one of the owners of Jersey Kebab in Camden County, can be freed on a $7,500 bond after going in front of an immigration judge on Tuesday.

Emine Emanet, who owns and runs Jersey Kebab in Haddon Township, New Jersey, with her husband, was released on bond from an Immigrations and Customs Enforcement detention center Wednesday. She said she is grateful for the support from her community at this time.

Some organizations applauded the move. But the raid chilled other American Jews, even some who consider themselves supporters of Israel.
