After selecting forward Jake O’Brien with the eighth overall pick on the first day of the draft, the Kraken rounded out the weekend with a total of six selections: two forwards and four defensemen.

All it takes to love O'Brien's approach to hockey is watching one game with him in it. He's a pass-first guy to the max, always looking to set up his teammates, but he does it in a crafty, deceptive way. The guy is a truly special playmaker, possibly the best in the class at this stage if we're looking at that skill set alone.
