After two one-year contracts, Matt Duchene is set to stay in Dallas long term this time. The Dallas Stars agreed to a four-year, $18 million extension with the veteran forward coming off a 30-goal, 82-point season in 2024-2025.

Duchene and the Dallas Stars have agreed to a four-year, $4.5 million AAV contract that runs through the 2028-29 season, the team announced on Thursday. Duchene, 34, played the last two seasons on one-year deals with the Stars.
