The new battery electric vehicle will be available in summer 2026, part of Mitsubishi's strategy to introduce a new or significantly revised vehicle each year from 2026 through 2030.

Mitsubishi just announced it will sell its own version of the Nissan Leaf in North America in the summer of 2026. The vehicle will be based on the next-generation Nissan Leaf, Mitsu said, and the shadowy photo above suggests it will be a compact crossover. It’s the exact same photo used a year ago in another release.
