Airbnb is aiming to be a full-service travel platform with new features, offerings and a redesign of its app. That includes a new “Airbnb Services” section where users can book chefs, masseuses, personal trainers and other types of service professionals to come to their Airbnb.

As part of a broader app update, Airbnb on Tuesday introduced a new feature that allows travelers to book services and experiences, like getting a massage, haircut, or chef-prepared meal, or taking part in some activity.

The updated app includes a brand-new “services” tab with 10 different categories. These services will be available in 260 cities around the world, aiming to give Airbnb users the kind of perks you’d usually expect at a hotel or resort.

Airbnb’s commission on each service and experience booked using the platform is 15 and 20 per cent, respectively.
