Arizona Governor Katie Hobbs was in eastern Arizona for a first-hand look at the Greer Fire, which is in its fifth day burning in Apache County and has torched more than 18,000 acres.

After two weeks of burning, the Greer Fire in eastern Arizona reached 100% containment, officials announced May 26, 2025.
