Liverpool has agreed to pay a transfer fee of 116 million pounds ($157 million) for attacking midfielder Florian Wirtz from Bayer Leverkusen.

Gordon, who joined Newcastle in a £45m deal from Everton in January 2023, scored six goals and registered five assists in the Premier League this season. The 24-year-old could be viewed as a possible replacement for Luis Diaz, who is Barcelona’s top target to strengthen their attack.
