Cedric Coward was one of the biggest risers at the NBA Draft Combine, and with his stock at an all-time high, he elected to forgo his final year of college basketball eligibility. The Duke commit told ESPN on Saturday that he will keep his name in the NBA Draft pool,

Coward was limited to only six games in the 2024-25 season, but he averaged 17.7 points, 7.0 rebounds, and 3.7 assists while shooting 40% from deep before a shoulder injury ended his season. That shouldn't stop him from being selected on draft night, though, as he brings a lot of NBA ready skills to the league.
