It's Cinco de Mayo, but unfortunately, the annual Little Village parade has been canceled. Celebrations, however, are happening in Chicago. According to organizers, the Little Village parade was canceled due to deportation concerns.

Little Village, which markets itself as the “Mexican capital of the Midwest” was to have held its annual Cinco de Mayo parade Monday, but it was canceled over fears of deportations.

While some Cinco de Mayo celebrations won't be happening this year, deals and freebies are still being offered across the Chicago area in honor of the day.
