The 2026 Cadillac Vistiq gives the GM luxury brand an all-electric offering in the all-important three-row family SUV segment.

GM is investing $390 million at its Kansas assembly plant to build next-generation Chevrolet Bolt EVs. GM plans to end production of its Chevrolet Malibu in the coming weeks. GM had said in May that when it resumed production in 2025 in Kansas it would build both the Bolt EV and XT4 on the same assembly line but now will only build Bolt vehicles.

The US car brand Cadillac from General Motors has unveiled a new electric SUV that sits between the huge Escalade IQ and the more compact Lyriq. The Vistiq will be available worldwide, with production starting soon.

Cadillac isn’t slowing down on its EV expansion, while ensuring its gas SUVs stay fresh. Some of these features must be seen to be believed.

The only other three-row electric luxury SUVs currently on sale are the Mercedes EQS, Volvo EX90 and Tesla Y. By mid-2025, Cadillac may have the broadest electric lineup of any luxury brand:Start the day smarter.

While automakers such as Tesla and Ford are rethinking their electric vehicle (EV) efforts, scrapping production on an affordable new compact crossover and three–row SUV, respectively, Cadillac continues to push forward with its electrification plans.
