By Ozan Ergenay (Reuters) -German fashion group Hugo Boss reported better-than-expected quarterly results on Tuesday and maintained its full-year forecast despite increased macroeconomic uncertainties.

The company reported better-than-expected first-quarter performance supported by cost control, and backed its full-year guidance despite what it called a tough backdrop amid tariff uncertainty.

Hugo Boss group sales fell 2% in the first quarter of 2025 to 999 million euros, or about $1.1 billion, according to a Monday earnings release. The company attributed the decline in part to increased global macroeconomic uncertainties,
